The 2025 Flex continues with two turbocharged powertrains and in the same trim options. The buyers can choose between the SE, SEL and Limited options and also pick between the front- and all-wheel drive. The unique exterior and highly flexible interior remain the selling points of the model but the Flex certainly lacks the modern design and sophistication.
2025 FORD FLEX: POWERTRAINS, MPG
The 2025 Ford Flex will again offer two engine versions and the choice between the front-and all-wheel drive.
The base Flex gets the power from the 287 hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine. This engine makes 254 pound-feet of torque and the six-speed automatic transmission is there by default.

The all-wheel drive can be ordered with the SEL and Limited versions. The Limited also opens the possibility of the more powerful V-6 engine. A 3.5-liter turbo-6 makes 365 and 350 lb-ft.
The Flex returns 19 mpg combined with the front-wheel drive. The all-wheel-drive loses 1 mpg on the combined basis. The model can tow up to 4,800 pounds.
2025 FORD FLEX: DESIGN
The 2025 Ford Flex is the same form from the previous version and it was the new design back in 2009. Ford hadn’t changed anything on the 2025 model and it could be the last model year for this vehicle.
INTERIOR:
Interior is also the familiar design and buyers which prioritize the function will find the Flex as the worthy solution. The model provides great forward visibility and it is still very comfortable despite lacking the modern style and materials.
EQUIPMENT:
The Flex returns in the same trim options. The rearview camera is also standard as well as the 4.2-inch center display, six speakers, CD, voice control, etc
The top Limited model adds 19-inch wheels, LED taillights, a navigation system, 12-speaker Sony sound system, etc. The Limited can also be equipped with the heated and power steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and more. It also offers the package with the active safety systems like the adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, etc.
